Japanese ceramic teapot, black, characterized by the side handle, with a capacity of 340ml, from Tokoname, Aichi prefecture.
Of the six ancient kilns of Japan (Seto, Shigaraki, Echizen, Tanba, Bizen and Tokoname), Tokoname is said to be the largest and oldest.
Tokoname teapots are often used in Japan for making green tea, the tea infused in these teapots is said to have a sweeter flavor.
Inside the teapot, in the spout, there is a fine mesh filter made of stainless steel.

Some tips on how to take care of this teapot:
- wash the inside with hot water after each use, do not use detergents;
- do not wash in the dishwasher and do not put in the microwave;
- clean the outside with a soft cloth and let it dry naturally;
