Kokeshi Zogan Sakura

Kokeshi, made and hand painted by the artist Usaburo. This kokeshi wears a black kimono on which cherry blossoms (sakura) are engraved and on which the grain of the wood can be seen. For the creation of this kokeshi, Mizuki wood (Japanese dogwood) was used for the face and chestnut wood for the body and the helmet. The kokeshi stands 19cm tall and has a diameter of 7cm. It is accompanied by a wooden plaque, with his name, the name and the stamp of the craftsman who made it. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
