Kokeshi Wakasamurai

This kokeshi, made and hand painted by Usaburo Kokeshi, depicts a young samurai wearing a green kimono with his inevitable katana. The young samurai differs from the more mature samurai by the hairstyle. The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). This kokeshi stands 13.5cm tall and 5.5cm in diameter. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
