Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artist Toshio Sekiguchi. The term Umewarabe means "child of spring" (literally "plum blossom child"). The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). This kokeshi stands 11cm tall and has a diameter of 7.5cm. It is accompanied by a wooden plaque with his name, stamp and signature of the artist who made it. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
