Kokeshi, with an oval shape, made and hand painted by the artist Toshio Sekiguchi. This doll represents a dancer with its beautiful fan. Its name derives from Mai, a traditional Japanese dance, and from Ume which means "plum". The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). This kokeshi stands 10.5cm tall and has a diameter of 7.5cm. It is accompanied by a small wooden plaque, with his name and the stamp of the craftsman who made it. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
