Kokeshi Tomoshiraga
Kokeshi, made and hand painted by the artist Chie Tamura, representing a smiling elderly couple. The term Tomoshiraga in Japanese means "growing old side by side" (literally "together until white hair"). These kokeshi make a great wedding or anniversary gift to wish friends and family a long and happy life together. The wood used for their creation is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). The kokeshi are 12cm (men) and 13cm (women) tall and have a diameter of 7.5cm. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
