Kokeshi made and hand painted by Usaburo Kokeshi. The name Soshun in Japanese means "early spring". Camellia flowers have been engraved on the red kimono of this kokeshi. For the creation of the body and the helmet of this doll chestnut wood was used and Mizuki wood (Japanese dogwood) for the face.
The doll stands 19cm tall and has a diameter of 7cm.
Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by Usaburo Kokeshi.
