Kokeshi Sansui (Fuji)

Kokeshi, made and hand painted by Usaburo Kokeshi. The term Sansui in Japanese means "landscape" and in fact on the kimono of this kokeshi, left in natural wood color where you can see the beautiful wood grain, a traditional Japanese natural landscape with Mount Fuji has been finely engraved.
For the realization of this kokeshi Mizuki wood (Japanese dogwood) was used for the face and chestnut wood for the body and the helmet.
The kokeshi is 18cm tall and 7cm in diameter.
Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
