Kokeshi Miyakoji
Kokeshi made and hand painted by the award-winning artist Masae Fujikawa, who won the "Prime Minister" award in 1996 and 2002 and the "Minister of Agriculture, forestry and Fishery" award in 1995 and 1996. A pagoda and cherry blossoms have been engraved on her beautiful kimono, in delicate green and pink pastel colors. The wood used for its creation is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). The kokeshi stands 17cm tall and has a diameter of 6.8cm.
It includes a wooden tag with his name in Japanese, the signature and stamp of the artist who made it and the original packaging stamped and signed by the artist.
