Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artist Kojo Tanaka. Her name is Kaede-chan which in Japanese means "girl of the maples".
The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). The kokeshi stands 14cm tall and 4.5cm in diameter.
Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
