Kokeshi Gochoju

Kokeshi, made and hand painted by the award-winning artist Toshio Sekiguchi, representing a very sweet smiling elderly couple. Their name is Gochoju which in Japanese means "long life", so these kokeshi are a great gift to wish your partner, friends and family a long and happy life as a couple.
The wood used for their creation is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). Both kokeshi stand 11.5cm tall and 6.5cm in diameter. These kokeshi are accompanied by a small wooden plaque, with their name in Japanese, the signature and stamp of the artist who made them. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
