Fuurin Maneki Neko Daruma

Wind bell (Fūrin) in ceramic with cardboard strip tied to the clapper depicting a Maneki Neko Daruma (cat of luck). Measure: height 5cm. Hanging under a porch, on a veranda, in an outdoor plant or in the lowest branch of a tree, when the wind blows it will start to tinkle and will give your home or garden a right Japanese atmosphere. The fuurin are much loved by the Japanese as in summer these bells with their sweet and delicate sound make the hot and sultry days less heavy and oppressive. Furthermore, the Japanese think that their sweet sound floating and dancing in the wind can keep evil spirits away from homes.
