Japanese curtain (Noren) with two panels, with central slit and an upper hem in which to insert a rod to hang it. A maiko (apprentice geisha) is depicted on this curtain at the Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) temple in Kyoto. The design is printed on one side of the curtain only.
It can be hung on doors and windows, it is ideal for dividing two rooms or for decorating a wall, giving an elegant and traditional Japanese style to the home environment.
