Kokeshi Yuzuru
Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artist Yuichi Miyakawa. The name of this kokeshi is Yuzuru which in Japanese means "crane in the evening".
This kokeshi is very elegant, it is lacquered and on its burgundy and black shaded kimono two cranes flying in front of a beautiful gold moon are engraved. Cranes are symbols of good luck, longevity and long life.
The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood).
This kokeshi stands 19.5cm tall and 7cm in diameter.
Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
