Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artist Megumi Nozawa. The kokeshi made by this artist differ from those of other artists for the always joyful expression of the face, for the engraved hair, for the colored kimonos and full of details and above all for being unique pieces or produced in limited numbers and not in series. .
The name of this kokeshi is Yuubina Shojo which in Japanese means "pretty girl". She wears a beautiful blue colored kimono with a cherry blossom (sakura) motif.
This is a unique piece made especially for us at Japanese Crafts. The doll is accompanied by a wooden tag with his name, signature and the artist's stamp. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
