Kokeshi made and hand painted in a single copy, especially for us of Japanese Crafts, by the artist Chiyomi Horiuchi.
The name of this kokeshi is Warabe which in Japanese means "little girl". This kokeshi stands out for the meticulous engraving work and for the joyful expression of the face.
The wood used for their creation is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). Measurements: approximately 10cm x 6cm
The kokeshi is accompanied by a wooden plate, with its name in Japanese and the name and stamp of the artist who made it and is kept inside a bag made from pieces of a kimono with a flower motif of cherry and bamboo leaves.
