Kokeshi Nadeshiko

Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artist Seifu Gono.
The name Nadeshiko in Japanese means "fringed carnation", it is the name of a Japanese flower that grows spontaneously in the fields. Delicate white carnations have been painted on this doll's faded purple kimono.
The kokeshi stands 19cm tall and has a diameter of 6cm.
Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
