Kokeshi Hanakazari

The term Hanakazari means "flower decoration" and in fact this kokeshi, made and hand painted by the artist Koho, wears a black kimono on which beautiful red and pink flowers are engraved and painted. Red flowers are also engraved in the bob representing the hair. The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). This kokeshi stands 14cm tall and 6cm in diameter. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
