Kokeshi made and hand painted by the artist Chie Tamura. The term Benibana in Japanese means "safflower flowers" and in fact this kokeshi with a sunny face wears a green kimono on which safflower flowers are painted. The wood used for the creation of this kokeshi is Mizuki (Japanese dogwood). This doll is 13cm tall and 7cm in diameter. The doll is accompanied by a wooden base and a wooden tag with its name and the signature of the artist who made it. Original packaging is included, stamped and signed by the artist who created the kokeshi.
